Mrs. Evelyn Richardson Gerald age 82, of Fairmont, North Carolina was born on December 14, 1935 in Robeson County.  She departed this earthly life to eternal rest on Wednesday, February 28, 2018 at Southeastern Hospice House in Lumberton, North Carolina. She was the daughter of the late Mr. Paul Richardson and the late Mrs. Leona Thompson Richardson.  Born in Barnesville, NC she grew up in rural Robeson County, and got acquainted with the good ole life of farming. She accepted Christ as her Savior at an early age for she believed that this day would surely come and she needed to be prepared to meet her maker. She was a member of the Ohovah United Methodist Church in Barnesville, North Carolina.   She was a loving person, who would help in any way she could.

Evelyn was employed in the textile industry and performed several different task during her work history.  She loved her children and spending time with and spoiling her grands and great grands.

Evelyn leaves to cherish fond memories her sons; Edmond (Valerie) Gerald, Patrick Gerald, Reginald Gerald, Darion Gerald all of Fairmont, North Carolina; Max Gerald of Greensboro, North Carolina; her brother William Tgusta Richardson, two aunts: Mary Lee Stephens and Janie R. Malloy both of Fairmont, North Carolina; several grandchildren, and great grandchildren, many nieces and nephews and a host of other relatives and friends.

Funeral Services will be 1:00 PM Monday March 5 , 2018 at Hills Chapel 302 N. Main Street, Fairmont, N. C 28340. Visitation with friends will start at 12:00 Noon until time for the funeral.
