Reginald Lovoice Bristow, also known as (Fats) was born on December 30, 1958 in Fairmont, NC to the late Reverend John Walter Bristow and the late Mrs. Mary Frances Alford Bristow.
Reginald attended school in Proctorville, North Carolina before moving to Boston, MA with his mom and siblings.  While in Boston, Reginald attended Phillip Brooks Middle School and Jeremiah E. Burke High School; both in Boston, Ma..  Reginald worked as a skillful automotive mechanic which was a gift  that God also blessed his father and brothers with.
Reginald was raised in church.  He was a member of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and Greater Life Baptist Church; both located in Boston. After many years he moved back to North Carolina and he joined Free Will Baptist Church. Reginald loved to hear the Word of God and sing. In spite of the challenges that he faced and the choices that put him on a different path, God kept Reginald and allowed him to experience miracles, signs and wonders.
Reginald loved people and had a personality that semed to draw people to him.  Many people loved his sweet spirit. One of his favorite greeting was, “You look good to me”.  Reginald would not complain, no matter how he was feeling or the adversities that he faced.

He leaves to cherish his memory three sisters, Elder Mary Bristow, Bishop Sandra Bristow Williams (Angelo) and Clarice Bristow George (Keith) all of Boston and a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, nephews, cousins, friends, and extended family of Puritt Health Nursing Care. Those who preceded him in death:  Rev John Walter Bristow (father), Mary Francis Bristow (mother), three brothers, Rev. I’m so sorry for your loss. If this can be comforting to you, just know that he is no longer suffering (Ecclesiastes 9:5) and now he, as well as others who have died, awaits the wonderful resurrection that Jehovah God has promised (Acts 24:15). I hope this message brings you comfort
